College Fantasy Football Resources

College fantasy football is on the rise, particularly for those who prefer the college game. However college fantasy analysis and general content is in the dark ages, like pre-internet style. I will continue to update this as I become aware of services. If you have an addition, please include it in the comments.

College Fantasy News & Analysis

  • Fantrax- Solid and active analysis. Covers all division 1, with thoughtful rankings and typical articles covering sleepers.
  • Rotowire- Arguably the most comprehensive fantasy coverage, one of the original fantasy news services covers all the iterations of fantasy (hoops, pro football, etc.). Good daily, player level news to keep on top of player movement.
  • CFF Champs- a newcomer with incredibly deep analysis, free projection tools that are customizable by your league type.
  • CFF News- A focused site, the others in this class, there is feature written content, position rankings and more.
  • The College Fantasy Football Site- dedicated to covering college only, this is a subscription service. Offering analytical drafting tools (excel based), it’s one of the more detailed solutions covering college fantasy.
  • FootballDiehards- There isn’t as much depth but solid writing.
  • College Football News — This hasn’t been updated since the start of 2017, however this is a dedicated college football news site.

League Management Solution- there were several solutions in the past, however CBS Sports dropped support a few years ago. This has led to a limited set, actually, a single solution.

  • Fantrax- a fantasy league management solution that supports college football, NHL, NBA, Nascar, college hoops and EPL soccer. Fantrax supports all the primary needs to manage a league. They also have a mobile app (iOS + Android) that gives you ability to change lineup and check scores on the go.
  • Yahoo- They have announced they are going to produce a college fantasy football solution this year, however no release date has been announced (and it likely will only be better than fantrax for those who already are bought into Y! Services such as mail and/or fantasy league management. That said how long will Verizon or Oath, continue to support fantasy services? I have my doubts on anything branded Yahoo.
