Silicon Valley Made Pro Sports Title Game History

Silicon Valley is at the center of the world’s economic shift to technical automation. The region is not just an economic power and the epicenter of innovation, impacting everything from business attire to major industries (transportation, telecommunications, entertainment, finance, among many others). It’s also quietly spoiled it’s citizens the past eighteen months by hosting championship games for every major North American sport (NBA, MLB, NHL & NFL).

Let’s recount, Silicon Valley’s official MLB team (as termed and geographically owned by the team) are the San Francisco Giants, who won the 2014 World Series (and 3 of the past 6 world series titles). Those games took place in October 2014. Then the region’s NBA team, the Golden State Warriors won the NBA Finals last June, and are playing again in the NBA Finals this June. The region’s NFL team, the San Jose Sharks, are currently playing in their first Stanley Cup Finals. Lastly Silicon Valley hosted Super Bowl 50 this past winter.

Historically no region has hosted more than three championships within that timeframe, which means Silicon Valley has made professional sports history and treated it’s inhabitants to a golden age.
