Steph Curry Breaks Records & Hearts..
After last nights “killer” finish and insta-classic game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Golden State Warriors, the legend of Stephen Curry continues to grow. There will be plenty of pieces on the performance itself and how the Warriors are now likely to break the all-time single season win total. The point that needs to be made though is not only is Curry breaking records (2 in this game, 3’s in a single game and total 3’s in a single season) but he’s breaking hearts in crunch time. Defeating an opponents will; voiding an opponents effort at the conclusion of a hard fought battle defines a true “killer”.
There’s a lot more basketball to be played in the ‘15-’16 season and ultimately championships are all that matter. But the past season and three quarters of Steph Curry have shown this is a special person, ascending to a level of play we’ve never seen before. And if you don’t agree with me, let me reference arguably one of the three best players of the past 40 years to back me up.
